The South East Asian Association for Institutional Research (SEAAIR) Conference is an annual conference where institutional research practitioners, scholarly researchers, higher education decision makers and educators from Southeast Asian institutions gather to share their research. The conference is a platform that offers participants the opportunity to interact, develop and exchange new ideas, current research interests, and issues in education and higher education.
The SEAAIR Conference has taken place 22 times since 2001. For the year 2023, Faculty of Education, Universiti Malaya and SEAAIR will host SEAAIR2023 in Putrajaya, Malaysia.
The conference will be held from 26 – 28 September 2023.
The theme for SEAAIR2023 is “Empowering Education through Research” which covers the following sub-themes: Oversight & Governance of Education Through Research, Enhanced Educational Practices & Pedagogies Through Research, Quality Assurance of Research-Enabled Education, Systems Technologies Underpinning Research Towards Education Vision, Research-enriched STEM, Arts & Humanities, Technical Vocational, and Special Needs and Early Childhood Education.
Academicians, educators, researchers, practitioners and graduate students are invited to participate and share their research and practices. This conference also serves as a platform for participants to build networking with experts from various backgrounds.
